Bauble a Day – Day 1

January 1, 2013

13-earrings 001Alright, 2013, let’s see what you’ve got for me. Nugget and I spent New Year’s Eve together watching a Homeland marathon. My stomach was feeling a bit rocky and I didn’t want to go out. We were invited to a party but he decided to stay home with me. Ah. How sweet is that? We will  not focus on the fact that the temperature in Minnesota last night, with the windchill factored in, was in the negative numbers, and that nobody in their sane mind wanted to go out. We will focus on the made up fact that my husband adores me and wants to take care of my every need.

I think fabrication is a great way to wrap up an old year, don’t you?

See the earrings? I’m suspecting you have.

They’re Day 1 of my 2013 – Bauble a Day Project. A new bauble photo every day. No matter what my day brings.

I’ve got the jewelry-making feeling again. It’s been a long time but I started making earrings recently, and I can’t stop myself!

I’ll be posting earrings, and other jewelry, on my etsy site: Click on This Hyperlink to go to Kitschinart at Etsy.

Let’s see how long I can keep this up!

Happy New Year, everybody! Here’s to a relatively harmless year!

Glad you stayed out of the cold. And good luck with those baubles!

Excellent! I’m working out my own creative resolution for 2013, one that involves more photos & blogging than 2013 held. Maybe we can even collaborate and finally blog…

You + me + collaboration = Awesome! What should we do? You make skirts and I pair them with jewelry?

Yes, or we pick a challenge theme and both make our craft based on it, and blog our creations including a picture with the two together…? Paulina could be our model.

I wish you and your family a happy, healthy, and safe new year! And I so happy to see you making your baubles again!

CJP – it’s something, this need to make the baubles again. 3+ years after the cancer and I’m finally feeling the need again!
